Studio Idents
Usually every film company has their logo which keeps on changing over the years. The most known companies has their logos for a long time and they are easily recognized. Others, indies, that are not recognized that easily also has their logos, however their history would not go as far.
Here are some well known and not that popular companies and their logo's histories.
Paramount Pictures
Paramount is a worldwide film

blockbusters. This company

and kept it that way until
1967. Later on the drawing
was changed into a picture

DreamWorks logo started of as a
boy on the moon. It came out
through the imagination of Steven
Spielberg. The image was hand drawn.
Later on, the cloud cover was
added as well. This was decided
as the company and its popularity
was growing, the company wanted
to add some graphics on to their
logo to make it look more modern.The logo used these days is not
much of a different from the first
ones, the only difference is the
colors. The letters in a name were
given different, bright colors,
as well as the clouds that were made
brighter as if they were changed fromthe night time to day.
Universal Pictures

Universal Pictures was founded in
1912. They didn't use an on-screen
logo until 1914. The second logo
was used at the time of 1924-1927.
The logo was changed a little bit
over the time. It was made to look
a little more live in 1936 and kept that way for 10 years until
1946. The logo was made brighter
then and stayed that way until 1963.
Then the colors were added and the
logo became bright. In the gap of
this transformation there was a lot
of tiny little changes made. The final logo that is used today as well
shows earth and stars around it as
well as a word UNIVERSAL in capital
letters covering the earth.
